Skuse Labs is an intellectual property company founded by Brian Skuse, a designer, inventor, and entrepreneur with more than 15 years of experience designing and developing products.

Prior to founding Skuse Labs, Brian founded Upperstate, an assistive mobility product company, and led its development from concept through commercialization and acquisition — work that resulted in five issued U.S. patents.

The portfolio reflects a consistent pattern: many failures in critical environments are organizational rather than technical. Information doesn't reach the right person in time, and accountability becomes unclear as a result. Skuse Labs develops and commercializes intellectual property that addresses this problem.
